Folvite Mb Capsule is a multivitamin supplement medication in the category of vitamins, containing the active ingredient Folic Acid, Methylcobalamin, and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin deficiencies such as vitamin b12 and b6 deficiency, also folate deficiencies. A vitamin deficiency mainly occurs when the body does not absorb enough vitamins from food.  The main components in this capsule are folic acid which is necessary for the production of red blood cells and the formation of certain neurotransmitters in the brain. It is particularly necessary during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Also, it is highly recommended before conception and during the early stages of pregnancy. Methylcobalamin helps in the regeneration and maintenance of nerve cells. Pyridoxine is involved in the synthesis of hemoglobin, which is the protein in red blood cells responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the body. Adequate pyridoxine levels are necessary for the proper formation of hemoglobin and the efficient transport of oxygen. This drug is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to it or its component. Stop taking Folvite Mb Capsule and contact your doctor immediately if you develop a rash or skin symptoms. This capsule should be taken if it is necessary during pregnancy. Report to your doctor if you are pregnant, suspecting, or planning for the pregnancy before starting the treatment. As this medicine is excreted into the breast milk. Please consult with your doctor for more advice before breastfeeding your baby. Avoid consuming alcohol with this capsule because this drug interferes with the absorption of alcohol and increases the elimination of folic acid.
