Eiref C Capsule is a combination medication belonging to the class of gastro protectants, containing the active ingredient cinitapride and pantoprazole. It treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), in which the stomach acid and contents flow back into the esophagus. This capsule is also used to treat non-ulcer dyspepsia. It is a condition characterized by chronic pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen. This drug is contraindicated in patients with tardive dyskinesia, a movement disorder condition associated with the long-term use of certain neuroleptic drugs. If a patient has a confirmed history of tardive dyskinesia related to the use of neuroleptics, this drug should be avoided. Also, hemorrhages, obstructions, or perforations are contraindications for using Eiref C Capsule. These conditions involve structural abnormalities or severe damage to the gastrointestinal tract, and the increased gastric motility caused by this drug could worsen the situation or lead to further complications. Inform your doctor about the underlying issues, and they may provide some medical interventions to be followed. Suppose an individual has a known history of allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to drug or any of the ingredients used in the medication formulation.
