Cleaning the bowel before the X-ray helps to get a clearer image of the digestive tract. If you have a blockage or bowel perforation in your intestines, using Colospect Orange Kit can worsen the obstruction and cause serious complications, so it should be avoided in such cases. Patients with severe heart disease should not use it as it can put additional strain on your heart and worsen your condition.  If you have severe kidney disease, using it can worsen your kidney function and lead to kidney failure so should be avoided. Generally safe for use in older adults, but it is important to consult a healthcare professional before using it, especially if there are underlying medical conditions. Colospect Orange Kit is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age due to the lack of safety and efficacy data in this age group.
