Pletoz 50mg Tablet contains an active component called Cilostazol. It is used to improve the symptoms of intermittent claudication, a condition characterized by pain, cramping, numbness, or weakness in the legs that occurs during exercise and is relieved by rest. This medication helps to widen the arteries that supply blood to the legs, thereby improving blood flow and reducing the symptoms of intermittent claudication. It helps to improve the symptoms and increase the distance that individuals with this condition can walk without experiencing pain or discomfort. It helps treat peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and reduce thrombosis risk. Individuals who have a known hypersensitivity or allergy to Pletoz 50mg Tablet or any of its components should not take this medication. It should not be used in patients with congestive heart failure of any severity.  It should not be used in patients with bleeding disorders or those at an increased risk of bleeding, as it can further increase the risk of bleeding due to its mechanism of action.  It may affect heart rhythm, so it should be used cautiously in patients with certain pre-existing heart rhythm disorders. Use Pletoz 50mg Tablet with caution in older adults, as they may be more susceptible to the medication's side effects. Close monitoring is recommended, especially for any signs of bleeding or heart-related issues. It has not been studied extensively in children, and its safety and efficacy in pediatric populations have not been established. Therefore, its use in children is generally not recommended.
