Nefcit Tablet

Nefcit tablet contains an active component as Ferric citrate. It is a medication used to treat iron deficiency anemia and hyperphosphatemia (increased phosphate levels in the body). It is a phosphate binder prescribed to manage hyperphosphatemia in chronic kidney patients undergoing dialysis. It is also an iron supplement that provides the elemental iron necessary to produce red blood cells. Iron is necessary for producing hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body and is also an essential nutrient for overall energy production and metabolism. This medication is commonly prescribed when oral iron supplements alone are not sufficient or well-tolerated.
