Le comprimé Exafib 10mg contient le principe actif Rivaroxaban. C'est un anticoagulant appartenant à la classe des inhibiteurs du facteur Xa. Il traite la thrombose veineuse profonde (TVP, un caillot sanguin généralement présent dans la jambe) et l'embolie pulmonaire (EP, un caillot sanguin dans le poumon) chez l'adulte. Il prévient également la récidive de la TVP et de l'EP après le traitement initial chez l'adulte. Il est également utilisé pour aider à prévenir les accidents vasculaires cérébraux ou les caillots sanguins graves chez les adultes atteints de fibrillation auriculaire (affection dans laquelle le cœur bat irrégulièrement, ce qui augmente le risque de formation de caillots dans l'organisme et peut éventuellement provoquer des AVC) qui n'est pas causée par une maladie valvulaire cardiaque. Le comprimé Exafib 10mg est également indiqué chez les enfants et les adolescents de moins de 18 ans pesant 30 kg ou plus pour traiter les caillots sanguins. Il est également utilisé pour prévenir la réapparition de caillots sanguins dans les veines ou les vaisseaux sanguins des poumons, après un traitement initial d'au moins 5 jours par des médicaments injectables utilisés pour traiter les caillots sanguins. Ne prenez pas ce médicament si vous êtes allergique à rivaroxaban ou à l'un des autres composants de ce médicament. Ne prenez pas ce médicament si vous saignez abondamment. Ne prenez pas ce médicament si vous présentez une maladie ou une affection d'un organe qui augmente le risque d'hémorragie grave. Ne prenez pas ce médicament si vous souffrez d'une maladie du foie entraînant un risque accru de saignement. Ne prenez pas le comprimé Exafib 10mg si vous êtes enceinte ou si vous allaitez. Informez votre médecin si vous souffrez de maladies du foie, de problèmes cardiaques, d'antécédents familiaux de maladies cardiaques, de problèmes rénaux, de troubles de la coagulation, de maladies pulmonaires ou d'hypertension artérielle. Informez votre médecin si vous prévoyez de subir une intervention chirurgicale, y compris des soins dentaires, pendant le traitement avec ce médicament.
