Mylimus 0.1% ointment 10gm contains the active substance Tacrolimus. It is an immunosuppressant that belongs to the class of medications called calcineurin inhibitors. It is used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) in adults who cannot use other medications for their condition or whose eczema has not responded to other medications. It suppresses the immune system from producing substances that may develop eczema. Do not take this mylimus 0.1% ointment 10gm if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Report your physician if you are allergic to any antibiotic group. Inform your doctor if you have or had a  liver failure, skin problems or skin cancer, or a weakened immune system. Notify your physician immediately if you develop fever, bruising under the skin (which may appear as red dots), unexplained tiredness, confusion, yellowing of the skin or eyes, reduced urine output, vision loss, and seizures after taking this medicine. Limit exposure to sunlight and UV light while consuming mylimus 0.1% ointment 10gm by wearing appropriate protective clothing and sunscreen with a high sun protection factor. This is because of the potential risk of malignant skin changes with immunosuppressive therapy. Do not apply this ointment to the infected areas if you have infected lesions. If you notice any change in the appearance of your skin, consult your physician immediately. This medicine is not approved for children younger than 16 years of age.
