These are generally biocompatible and well-tolerated by the body. They are suitable for use on various wound types, including burns, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds. Some individuals may be sensitive or allergic to the components of Intrasite gel 15gm. It's important to perform a patch test or check for any adverse reactions when using a new dressing. It should not be used on wounds that are already excessively moist or on dry wounds, as they may exacerbate the condition. These are not typically recommended for infected wounds.
