Fungisome 10gm gel contains the active substance Liposomal Amphotericin B. It is an Anti-Fungal antibiotic. It is used to treat fungal infections in the skin, including dermatophytosis (ringworm or tinea) and mucormycosis. It is also used in wound debridement, burn dressings, and around tubes and catheters during intubation in the intensive care unit. It kills the infection-causing fungus, preventing it from spreading and hastening the healing process. Do not apply Fungisome 10gm gel if you are allergic to amphotericin B or any of the other ingredients in the medicine. Inform your physician if you have a severe allergic reaction, kidney or liver problems, and if you are having dialysis. This medicine is for external use only. Your doctor will decide the dose and quantity of Fungisome 10gm gel based on your disease condition. Before applying, the affected region should be clean and dry.
