This drug is mainly used in fertility treatments to stimulate ovulation in women through in vitro fertilisation (IVF). This medicine can be used to stimulate the production of testosterone in males with hypogonadism (the body doesn’t produce enough testosterone). It is also used to treat undescended testicles (movement of testes from a higher position to a lower one). The common side effects that are likely to occur with this medicine are pain, redness, swelling at the site of injection, headache, tiredness, depression, and fluid retention.
