Azapharm 100mg Injection is used for treating adults with Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) if they are considered ineligible for stem cell transplant. In Myelodysplastic Syndrome, the bone marrow does not produce healthy blood cells due to its lack of function. Acute Myeloid Leukemia is a type of bone marrow cancer caused by the release of incompletely formed blood cells into the bloodstream.
Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient
Uses
• Treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia with 20-30% blasts in patients who are not eligible for Haemopoietic stem cell transplant
• Intermediate-2 and High-risk Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)
Benefits
Azapharm 100mg Injection is used to suppress the immune system and is commonly prescribed to prevent organ rejection after transplantation. When a new organ is introduced, the body’s immune system may recognize it as foreign and attempt to attack it. This medicine works by reducing the activity of immune cells responsible for this response, helping protect the transplanted organ from damage. It may also be used in certain autoimmune conditions to control abnormal immune activity. By regulating the immune response, it supports better treatment outcomes and long-term health.
