AddPhos granules treat high levels of calcium in the body, which has developed due to the overactive parathyroid gland. The parathyroid gland is behind the thyroid gland and secretes a parathyroid hormone that plays a crucial role in maintaining calcium and phosphate levels. Since the levels of phosphates and calcium are inversely related, AddPhos granules work to reduce the calcium levels by increasing the phosphate count in the blood.
