Telma H tablet contains the active constituents telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide, which belongs to the antihypertensive drugs which help in lowering the high blood pressure. This combination of medicine is used when one medicine alone is not effective in controlling blood pressure effectively and it lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke. This medication is taken as per the advice of the doctor. It can be taken in an empty stomach or along with food but it has to be taken at a fixed time daily. It is very important to take this medicine even if you feel well. As this medicine contains a diuretic which is known as a water pill it causes urination frequently; hence take this medicine 4 hrs before going to bed.
