Orfluzol 200mg Injection contains an active component, such as fluconazole. It is an Anti-Fungal medication used to treat various fungal infections. Prescription Anti-Fungal medication is used to treat and prevent a wide range of fungal infections, including vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, oesophageal infections, skin fungal infections, and certain systemic fungal infections. Fluconazole has been shown to be effective in both healthy and immunocompromised patients, treating serious fungal infections in the bloodstream, brain, and other organs. However, some fungi have developed resistance to fluconazole, which means they don’t respond to the treatment. Because of this, doctors may recommend testing the fungus to ensure fluconazole will be effective before starting treatment. Orfluzol 200mg Injection is usually taken once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. It is important to complete the full course to prevent the infection from returning.

How To Use

You should take Fluconazole tablets exactly as your doctor prescribes. Swallow the tablet whole with water, and it can be taken with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day if you are on a multi-day treatment. It’s important to complete the full course of medication, even if you start feeling better, to fully clear the infection. If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is near, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never take two doses at once. Avoid alcohol while taking Fluconazole, and contact your doctor if you experience any side effects like rash, itching, or stomach discomfort.

Safety Advice

• Breast Feeding: Single, low doses of Fluconazole (e.g., 150mg) are generally considered safe during breastfeeding, as only small amounts pass into breast milk.  High doses or long-term use may increase the amount of medicine passed to the baby, so this should be used only if clearly advised by a doctor.
• Alcohol: It is advisable to limit or avoid alcohol during treatment as it can increase the risk of liver-related side effects.
• Liver: It is unknown whether Orfluzol 200mg Injection can be used in patients with liver disorders. Consult your doctor if you have any liver problems before starting the treatment.
• Lungs: It is unknown whether Orfluzol 200mg Injection can be used in patients with lung disorders. Consult your doctor if you have any lung diseases before starting the treatment.
• Driving: Some people may experience dizziness or headaches after taking Fluconazole. If this happens, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
• Pregnancy: Fluconazole should be avoided during pregnancy unless clearly prescribed by a doctor, especially in high doses or long-term treatments, as it may cause harm to the unborn baby. Always inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
