Hemat plus tablet contains active components such as ferrous biglycinate, lactoferrin, and L- methylfolate. It is used to treat iron deficiency, caused either due to chronic blood loss or poor absorption of iron in the body. This tablet helps in the formation of red blood cells. It may help to form hemoglobin, a substance that improves the red blood cells' ability to transport oxygen. Before taking Hemat Plus Tablet, it is important to tell your doctor if you have any of the following conditions allergies to iron or any other medications, liver problems, stomach ulcers, kidney problems, or heart disease. If you have a history of allergic reactions to it or any of its components, then, do not take Hemat Plus Tablet. If you have a history of stomach ulcers or other gastrointestinal problems, talk to your doctor before taking Hemat Plus Tablet. Do not take Hemat Plus Tablet if you have hemochromatosis, in which the body stores too much iron, or have sickle cell anemia. This blood disorder causes the body to produce abnormal red blood cells. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Drink plenty of fluids, especially water, while taking these medications. This will help to prevent constipation.
