This drug is also approved for treating heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) in adults. It helps to improve symptoms and reduce the risk of hospitalization for heart failure. This drug mainly helps to control high blood glucose (sugar) levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes. It is always taken in combination with diet and exercise.
