Mabura 40mg Injection PFS contains the active ingredient Adalimumab. It is an antirheumatic agent that belongs to the class of medications called TNF (tumor necrosis factor) inhibitors. It is used alone or with other medications to relieve the symptoms of certain autoimmune disorders. It is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (a condition in which the body attacks its joints, causing pain, swelling, and loss of function), polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (a condition that affects children in which the body attacks its own joints, causing pain, swelling, loss of function, and delays in growth and development). It is also indicated to treat enthesitis-related arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (a condition in which the body attacks the joints of the spine and other areas, causing pain and joint damage), axial spondyloarthritis without radiographic evidence of ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis (a condition that causes joint pain and swelling and scales on the skin), plaque psoriasis,  hidradenitis suppurativa (a skin disease that causes pimple-like bumps in the armpits, groin, and anal area), Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis (a condition which causes swelling and sores in the lining of the colon [large intestine] and rectum), and non-infectious uveitis (swelling and inflammation of different areas of the eye). Do not use Mabura 40mg Injection PFS if you are allergic to adalimumab or any of the other ingredients present in this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you have active tuberculosis or other severe infections. Do not consume this medicine if you have moderate or severe heart failure.
