Revac-B Injection contains an active agent as Hepatitis B Injection (rDNA). It is used to protect against hepatitis B virus infection in children. This vaccine also protects children from hepatic cellular carcinoma (liver cancer). Hepatitis B virus is a virus that damages the liver and gradually stops the liver from working properly. Revac-B Injection is especially advantageous for babies with neuro disorders. This vaccine also allows normal immunization for preterm (born too early) and low birth weight infants, which otherwise might be delayed. The vaccine is typically given as a series of three or four injections over six months and is recommended for all infants and adults at risk of contracting the virus. Talk to your doctor if your child has any allergic conditions or diseases before administering Revac-B Injection. Report to your doctor immediately if your child experiences hypersensitive reactions after receiving this vaccine. Some people may be allergic to certain vaccine components, such as yeast. If you have a history of severe allergic reactions or an allergy to any vaccine component, you should not receive it.
