Inbec Tablet contains the active ingredient Abacavir, dolutegravir, and Lamivudine. It is an anti-retroviral drug that belongs to two groups. Abacavir and lamivudine belong to nucleoside analog reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs), and dolutegravir belongs to a group called integrase inhibitors (INIs). It is used to treat HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection in adults and children over 12 who weigh at least 40 kg. This medicine is not for children under 12 years of age. Do not take Inbec Tablet if you are allergic to Abacavir, dolutegravir, Lamivudine, or any other ingredients. Inform your physician if you are taking a medicine called fampridine, also known as dalfampridine (used to treat multiple sclerosis). This medicine may cause serious allergic reactions. After taking this medicine, inform your physician immediately if you get any skin rash, shortness of breath, facial and foot swelling, chest pain, or cough. Inform your physician if you have had liver disease, hepatitis B or C infection, or kidney problem before initiating the treatment. Inbec Tablet may increase your chances of getting a heart attack; tell your doctor if you have heart problems, if you smoke, or if you have other illnesses that may increase your risk of heart disease, such as high blood pressure or diabetes. Report any symptoms of joint pain, stiffness, and bone problems while taking this medicine.

Abacavir inhibits the activity of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase (RT) by competing with the natural substrate dGTP and its incorporation into viral DNA. Dolutegravir inhibits HIV integrase by binding to the integrase active site and blocking the strand transfer step of retroviral DNA integration, which is essential for the HIV replication cycle.
